At the ongoing AppFest 2012 in Hyderabad, UCWeb, the maker of the popular UC Browser has today announced that its global user base has hit the 400 million milestone.
The company has added over 100 million new users in less than a year and according to the latest stats, the mobile browser hold over 25% share in the Indian.
UCWeb was first launched in the year 2004 and currently holds 50% market share in its home ground, China and has more than 10 percent market share in four other countries.

UCWeb
has also passed another landmark of 100 million global Android users
last month as the presence of the browser is increasing.
With
the number of mobile users in India, three fold that of PC users, UCWeb
has been focusing on the localization of its products to meet the needs
of Indian consumers and had launched a Hindi version of UC Browser in
September and will soon release its Urdu version too.
